01The problem
A war for talent was coming and few companies were ready
With baby boomers retiring and millennials entering the job market, only the most attractive companies would attract and keep the best people.
- HR teams without marketing tools
- Companies that did not know what made them attractive
- Long and expensive hiring processes
02What I did and how
Marketing applied to HR
Employer branding was almost unknown in Spain and most companies did not know where to start. I decided to specialise in that alone and teach the method for free to build trust.
-
Only employer branding
From day one, a single specialisation for Spain and Latin America. Being "the employer branding people" made us easy to remember and to recommend.
-
Agency and school
Tailor-made or monthly projects for companies, and a free six-lesson email course for anyone who wants to learn to do it.
-
Content that brings in clients
Guides and an HR tools comparison that rank on Google and bring in HR managers who are looking for a provider.
-
Named case studies
Projects with Penguin Random House, Ametller Origen and the Basque Technology Park, told with numbers and in the client's own words.
What I learned
-
Specialising in a niche makes you the reference sooner.
-
Teaching what you know for free brings in clients who already trust you before the first call.
